Fenced  (2020)

This book began as a series of walks in the only place I felt safe  during the pandemic. As lockdown extended I was drawn to the many natural and human sounds that passed over the fence.

The pine of the fence grew in a similar restricted unnatural place, without freedom. From there it was further deadened and regimented by processing

Fenced is case bound and runs these two narratives alongside each other in the upper and lower margins.
