Mynah (2020)
A mynah nested in the eaves, leaving behind a nest made from rubbish, scavanged largely it seems from a nearby 7/11 store. The list of the found paper and plastic in the nest is similar to the global nature of the bird.
Mynah looks at cultural attitudes to Indian mynas, here in Australia, and in India. Is it a pest or a symbol of love and fidelity? The accordian fold book is double sided, showing the two attitudes. An insert lists in detail the material found in the nest.
